DOZENS of Port Adelaide players are a chance to reach a career milestone in 2016, so portadelaidefc.com.au has done the maths to see who's in the mix...

Games and goals

1. Travis Boak – 177 games (23 games until 200)

Boak will fall just short of his 200 game milestone on the basis of minor round games, requiring 23 matches to reach the feat. However should he play the whole season and the Power makes finals, Boak could potentially squeeze the achievement into the second week of September.

2. Kane Mitchell – 31 games (19 games until 50)

Mitchell would need to be elevated off the rookie list to be a chance at meeting his 50th game. If he won an elevation in Round 1, that match could be as soon as Round 20 against the Swans.

3. Jake Neade – 34 games (16 games until 50, 20 goals until 50)

Jake Neade is a strong chance to play his 50th game in 2016, especially if he can hold his place in the Power’s Round 1 team. If that happens, he’s on track to clock the half-ton against North Melbourne in Round 17. A 20-goal season will also see him break through the scoreboard 50 as well.

4. Paddy Ryder – 188 career games (12 games until 200, 15 goals until 150)

Despite playing just 18 games for the Power, Ryder is tracking to bring up the double century when Port takes on the Western Bulldogs at the Adelaide Oval (he played 170 matches for Essendon). He requires 15 goals to kick 150 AFL majors.

5. Matthew Broadbent – 125 games (25 games until 150, 9 goals until 50)

Playing mainly as a defender, Matthew Broadbent is a long-shot to crack 50 goals this year, and would need to play ever match and hope Port Adelaide plays finals to come close to the 150-game mark.

6. Angus Monfries – 248 career goals (2 games until 250)

There aren’t enough games in the season for Gus Monfries to crack his 250th match (having played his 200th last year, but needs just two goals to bring up 250 majors.

7. Brad Ebert – 93 Port Adelaide games (7 games until 100)

Engravers will be sharpening their tools for Brad Ebert, who will become a 100-game AFL player for Port Adelaide if he stays in form and injury free this year. At this rate, Ebert is scheduled to play his club century against Brisbane at the Adelaide Oval in Round 7.

9. Robbie Gray – 136 games (14 games until 150, 14 goals until 200)

Robbie Gray should clock two milestones in 2016 – his 150th game is set for the Power’s Round 15 game against Richmond, and he’s just 14 majors shy of scoring his 200th goal.

11. John Butcher – 28 games (22 games until 50, 14 goals until 50)

Butcher would need to play every home-and-away game to qualify for a 50th match milestone in Round 23 against Gold Coast, but averages just under six games a season currently.

14. Paul Stewart – 87 games (13 games until 100, 17 goals until 50)

The long-term utility can play his 100th game as early as the Power’s away clash against Fremantle, but would need to bump up his seasonal average – currently just above 10 games a year – to rack up the 13 home-and-away matches to reach the milestone.

18. Jimmy Toumpas – 27 career games (23 games until 50)

Toumpas would need to be an injury-free first 18 player all season – and be selected in a hypothetical final – if he’s to crack 50 career games (a Port Adelaide debut would be his first milestone)

19. Matt White – 145 career games (5 until 150; 10 until 50 club games, 4 goals until 100, 8 until 50 club goals)

White looks like a milestone man in 2016. He could play his 150th career game as early as Round 5 against the Cats, and needs just four goals to bring up the century. He’s also just 10 matches away from his 50th Power appearance and needs only eight goals to bring up his half century for the Power.

20. Chad Wingard – 89 games (11 until 100, 2 until 150 goals)

Wingard also shapes as a milestone player in 2016. Knowing Chad, his 150th goal might come against the Saints in Round 1 (he needs to kick two), and he might become a 100-gamer as early as Round 11 against Collingwood at the MCG.

21. Jared Polec – 5 games (5 until 50)

If Polec’s recovery from injury goes to plan and he earns a recall for Round 1, the old Seaton boy might be chalking up 50 career games against the Cats in Round 5.

22. Charlie Dixon – 94 career goals (6 until 100)

100 career goals is a genuine possibility for Dixon in 2016, as is a debut in the black, white and teal.

23. Matthew Lobbe – 84 games (16 until 100)

The big man is just 16 games away from his century, which means he could be chaired off when the Power plays North Melbourne in Round 17.

28. Jay Schulz – 187 career games (13 until 200, 27 goals until 350)

Schulz shapes as a chance for a milestone in Round 13 against Fremantle when his double century is scheduled to take place.  He’s also just 27 majors from his 350th career goal.

29. Jasper Pittard – 76 games (24 until 100)

If Pittard wants to play his 100th this year, he’d need to play all 22 minor round games and hope to feature in two finals games.

39. Justin Westhoff – 181 games (19 until 200, 21 goals until 250)
The Power’s much-loved swingman needs to play in at least 19 matches to bring up his 200th game, if he does, he’ll be hoping for a win in Round 20 against the Swans at the SCG. He’s also a shot at kicking his 250th goal, needing just 21 majors to reach the feat (he averages 25 per season).

40. Aaron Young – 42 games (8 until 50)

The versatile midfielder averages 10 games a year, so he’s a chance to play his 50th AFL match against the Blues in Round 8 (fortunately for Young, he won’t be the sub).

Yet to debut

25. Logan Austin

26. Riley Bonner

31. Aidyn Johnson

32. Dougal Howard

33. Darcy Byrne-Jones

34. Will Snelling (rookie)

37. Jesse Palmer

38. Billy Frampton

43. Dan Houston (rookie)

44. Cam Hewett (rookie)

18. Jimmy Toumpas – club debut

22. Charlie Dixon – club debut

SANFL Milestones

7. Louis Sharrad - 30 games (20 games until 50)

Sharrad would need to play all of Port Adelaide's minor round games and hope the Magpies get through to play two finals matches if he is to clock his 50th game this year.

15. Karl Amon - 32 games (18 games until 50)

If Amon played all 18 SANFL league games this year, he'd play his 50th for Port Adelaide in the Magpies guernsey against Norwood in Round 21.

17. Tom Clurey - 46 career games (4 games until 50, 20 until 50 club games)

Clurey played 16 games for Glenelg previously, so is a chance to rack up his 50th league appearance against Central District in Anzac Round on April 24. If the Magpies play two finals and Clurey plays his whole year in the SANFL, he might squeeze a 50th club SANFL game for Port too.

29. Anthony Biemans - 31 games (19 games until 50)

Anthony Biemans could get away with playing just one major round game and all 18 home-and-away league matches to clock his 50th appearance for the Magpies.

33. Darcy Byrne Jones - 38 games (12 until 50)

Byrne-Jones could play his 50th SANFL game in his third year on the list when the Magpies take on Central District at Elizabeth in July.

40. Aaron Young - 40 career games (10 games until 50)

Having played for North Adelaide before switching to Port, Young is just 10 games shy of 50 in the SANFL. If he doesn't start his year playing AFL footy, the soonest he could reach that mark would be against Sturt in Round 11.

41. Brendon Ah Chee - 41 games (9 games until 50)

The same goes for Ah Chee, who could play his 50th against Glenelg at Alberton in Round 10 at the earliest.

42. Tom Jonas - 40 career games (10 games until 50)

Like Young, Jonas will be hoping to spend the year playing AFL football, but he's just 10 SANFL games away from his 50 (including 37 games played for the Redlegs).

48. Nathan Krakouer - 36 games (14 games until 50)

If Krakouer isn't elevated off the rookie list, he can play his 50th League match against Woodville-West Torrens In Round 16 at the earliest.
