RAIN will clear well before Port Adelaide's opening AFL game of 2016 on Easter Sunday.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, cloudy conditions are likely for the Easter Sunday game.

With a slight (20%) chance of rain, most likely in the morning, the temperature is predicted to sit between the mid to low twenties.

The bureau amended its previous forecast in the approach to the Power-Saints clash, although 20km/h southerlies are likely.

Port Adelaide hosts St Kilda in AFL Opening Round on Easter Sunday, March 27 at 2:50pm (ACDT).
