portadelaidefc.com.au takes a look at who’s in the mix to hit the field in Sunday’s clash with GWS in Canberra.

Port Adelaide

Possible returns of two first-choice players and injury to another could spark several changes to the Power’s lineup on Sunday.

Forward Chad Wingard and midfielder Hamish Hartlett may hit the field after sitting out last week’s clash against the Dons with hamstring complaints. They’ll both need to prove their fitness at training, but are expected to be available for selection.

With Jay Schulz sidelined for an extended period of time following back surgery, the Power needs the services of a key goalkicker.

While Wingard or Hartlett could come in this week, tall man John Butcher could earn an AFL callup after being in excellent form for the first three games of the season in the SANFL side.

The Magpies have a bye this week, which means ruckman Billy Frampton along with defenders Tom Clurey and Nathan Krakouer have another week of rest before making their return to the SANFL side against the Bulldogs.

GWS

Giants’ defender Adam Corr is sidelined with an ankle ligament injury sustained their derby clash with the Swans in Round 3.

He’ll be out for up to four weeks, leaving an opening in their backline. It's perfect timing, given two Giant defenders are set to make a return from injury this week.

Pending fitness testing, Matt Buntine and Adam Kennedy are expected to be available for selection – either could hit the field on Sunday as a direct swap for Corr.

Tall forward Jeremy Cameron will not play against the Power as he serves the final term of a four-match ban for high contact against Brisbane Lions’ Rhys Mathieson in the third round of the NAB Challenge.
