Dear Members and Supporters,

There comes a point in every season where all the things that you have been working on just count for a little bit more than usual.

This Saturday’s clash with the Bulldogs seems like one of those moments.

With our noses just ahead of the ledger, having travelled away twice for two good wins, we return to Adelaide Oval to take on a legitimate top four side. Far from perfect, but driven to apply unrelenting pressure and a total commitment to team football, our momentum is building.

But make no mistake, we are in a scrap. The competition is as tight as it has ever been and I feel sure that this season will be decided by the barest of margins.

Which is why maximising any advantage we can is so crucial…

Adelaide Oval is one of those advantages.

In a competition where everything from player salaries, fixtures, drafts, soft caps, academies and any other number of things are structured to create equality, the home ground advantage remains.

Don’t tell me that having 45,000 rabid fans on your side doesn’t matter. It does.

Don’t tell me that opposition clubs ‘enjoy’ coming to play at Adelaide Oval. They don’t.

Don’t tell me that our boys don’t lift when we’re all driving as one towards a stirring victory. They do.

I remember Alberton Oval being a brute of a place to play…the noise, the black and white flags, the cold showers. You never forget those things!

I imagine Adelaide Oval feels just as intimidating.

We’ve got six home games to go this season.

Six opportunities to give our boys an edge. Maybe the season defining edge they need.

They’re having a red hot go, let’s get out there and do our bit.

Our passion is our strength and we can’t wait to see you.

If you’re away for the long weekend, pass your ticket onto someone and get them to a great game of footy for you.

It’s a Saturday afternoon.
It’s a long weekend.
It’s a game we have to win.
Let’s get it done together.

Go the Power!
