• Hombsch to have further scans after being a late withdrawal

  • Suffered quad soreness after Captain's Run on Thursday

  • Power to have clearer picture early next week

JACK HOMBSCH will have further scans to a quad injury on Monday, Power head of high performance Darren Burgess says.

The key defender was a late withdrawal from the Power's Friday night win over Richmond after suffering quad tightness in Thursday's captain's run.

He was unable to pull up in time for the game and was replaced by Tom Clurey.

"We scanned Jack today after he pulled up with quad tightness yesterday," Burgess said.

"Normally these things need to wait 48 hours to settle down, so we'll have another look at him on Monday and get a clearer picture on where he's at."

No other injuries were reported from Port's 38-point win over Richmond
