HAMISH HARTLETT will miss 3-4 weeks of football after scans scans revealed the Port Adelaide vice-captain had suffered a Grade 1/2 strain

Hartlett was a late withdrawal from the Power’s clash with Brisbane last week after suffering calf tightness in the warm-up.

Port Adelaide’s head of high performance Darren Burgess says Hartlett will push for a return in the Showdown.

“Hammer will be pushing for the Showdown, but I think he’s probably more likely to be a Round 23 chance,” Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“That said, if he’s clear to return he’ll be available for selection.”

On Monday, Port revealed Charlie Dixon is pushing to return from an ankle injury against Melbourne.
