PORT ADELAIDE will open its SANFL season with two ‘under-lights’ away clashes, and will see just two home games clash on weekends that it play at the Adelaide Oval in the AFL.

The news comes as the league released its fixture for 2017 on Saturday morning, which will see the Magpies play its full home fixture at Alberton, and away matches at all traditional SANFL grounds with the Crows electing to play their 'home' match against Port at Woodville Oval.

Only its first two games will be played outside of a regular afternoon timeslot, and only its first two home games – against North Adelaide on Anzac weekend and against Sturt in the first weekend of May – are held on weekends when the Power also play home.
