• Forward convert reported for hit on Saint Dempster

  • MRP to rule next week

NATHAN KRAKOUER will be looked at for a hit on St Kilda's Sean Dempster in the Power's opening JLT Community Series game on Thursday night.

The collision took place in the third quarter, with Krakouer's body appearing to glance Dempster's head at speed.

The officiating umpire took down Krakouer's number, meaning the AFL Match Review Panel will assess the contact following the end of Week 2 of the pre-season competition.

Speaking post-game, Ken Hinkley expressed concern that Krakouer may have a case to answer.

"Can I be honest? From where I looked, it looked like it might be a little bit of bad luck for 'Krak', but I don't know," Hinkley said.

"Dempster got up, he was OK, but just from what I saw, I thought that's the sort of stuff that maybe gets him in a little bit of trouble.

"I hope it doesn't, but maybe."
