AIDYN JOHNSON will become Port Adelaide's 167th AFL player after being swept into the Power's line-up as a late replacement for Hamish Hartlett.

Hartlett was withdrawn from the game with quad tightness.

"Hamish came out of the warmup and had soreness in his quad, so we decided to pull him out and not run the risk of further injury," Port's head of high performance Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

Johnson, 19, was taken with pick 45 in the 2015 AFL Draft from Bendigo Pioneers, having played junior football at Moama in country Victoria.
