PORT ADELAIDE's annual behind-the-scenes look at its season has launched earlier than usual, with INSIDE: The Story of Port Adelaide 2017 to be shown in a shorter multiple-installment format this year.

Part 1 launched on Sunday, and takes Port Adelaide fans into the first four rounds of the season, featuring wins over Sydney and Freo and losses to the Crows and Giants.

Power skipper Travis Boak narrates the season to the end of Round 4, and explains the club's approach heading into each game.
