MATTHEW BROADBENT will not play against Collingwood on Saturday after being withdrawn from the game with an ankle problem following today's captain's run at Alberton.

Broadbent suffered the issue during training this week and was unable to be cleared at the Power's final shakedown on Friday.

He will be replaced in the selected side by Matt White, who has played the majority of this season in the SANFL.

White was called up in Round 4 to play against GWS in Canberra, in his only AFL appearance this year.

Broadbent will have his ankle assessed next week.

Port Adelaide plays Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday 24 June at 1.45pm.
