JACK HOMBSCH has been shortlisted for the Jim Stynes Community Award for the third consecutive year, on the back of his work with those living with physical and intellectual disability in the community.

Hombsch was shortlisted on the back of his work with Inclusive Sport SA, Bedford and KickStart for Kids.

He will be up against Kirby Bentley (Fremantle) who works with the WA Aboriginal community and coordinates the Kirby Bentley Cup, Jordan Roughead (Bulldogs) who works with the AFL Players' official charity Ladder, and Nick Riewoldt (St Kilda) who works with Maddie's Vision - the charity established to honour his late sister in the search for bone marrow failure treatments.

The Award is presented at the Brownlow Medal count, with previous winners including Geelong’s Jimmy Bartel (2016), Carlton’s Dennis Armfield (2015), West Coast Eagles’ Beau Waters (2014), Gold Coast’s Zac Smith (2013) and Richmond’s Daniel Jackson (2012).
