PORT ADELAIDE will be putting in the kilometres next year with plenty of travel booked for the 2018 season.

An exciting 2018 fixture with trips to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Ballarat, Tasmania and China will give Port members from around Australia - and China - a great opportunity to watch their team play live.

Sydney at the SCG in Round 2 marks the first away trip of the season, with the Power looking to repeat last year’s courageous win in the opening round of 2017. Sam Powell-Pepper was inspirational in his first AFL game, leading the side to a 28-point victory.

In Round 4 and Round 6, Port will then head to Melbourne to play Essendon and North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium. The Power will be seeking redemption against the Bombers after last year’s disappointing result under the roof.

Port will get their first taste of the new Perth stadium when they take on West Coast in Round 7. When the two clubs met at Subiaco last year, it was the Power who took away the four premiership points.

The Power will then make an international trip to the newly named Adelaide Arena at Jiangwan Stadium in Shanghai in Round 9, to face the Gold Coast Suns on Chinese turf. It's the second consecutive year the two teams have met in China, with Port securing a 72-point win last time around.

Port will also play in Tasmania for the first time since 2013, when they clash with Hawthorn at Uni of Tas Stadium in Launceston in Indigenous Round – Round 11.

Round 15 sees the Power venture to the MCG for the first time in 2018 to play Carlton, before returning in Round 22 to take on Collingwood. Port held a 1-1 win-loss ratio at the ‘G last year, defeating to the Pies by 31 points, before succumbing to the Demons a month later.

Port Adelaide then returns to Perth Stadium for the second time – this time against the Dockers – when they head west in Round 17.

Ballarat will once again play host to a clash between the Power and the Dogs, this year in Round 19. When the two teams clashed at Mars Stadium in 2017, the Power ran out 17-point victors with Charlie Dixon starring with four goals.

The breakdown of Port Adelaide’s away fixtures in 2018 sees them play two early Saturday matches, three Saturday afternoon games, one early Sunday and one afternoon Sunday clash, and two Saturday twilight (including the away Showdown in Round 20) and two Sunday twilight matches.
