FIVE of Port Adelaide’s new recruits have been officially handed their playing numbers for season 2018.

Steven Motlop, Tom Rockliff, Trent McKenzie, Jack Trengove and Jack Watts will don their brand new digits at training from Friday onwards. 

Steven Motlop kicks off the number reveal, officially taking over the #6 guernsey from former custodian Angus Monfries, while Tom Rockliff will don #11 - previously worn by Aaron Young.

Despite popular speculation, Jack Trengove won’t be taking over the number of namesake Jackson Trengove – he’ll have a fresh start with #19, most recently worn by Matt White.

Trent McKenzie will then don the #12 guernsey while Jack Watts will wear #23; Matthew Lobbe’s old number.

This leaves the following numbers up for grabs for the club’s six new draftees – Sam Hayes, Kane Farrell, Jake Patmore, Joel Garner, Dom Barry and Lindsay Thomas:

The draftee’s numbers will be announced this Friday, 1 December.
