JARED POLEC shapes as a possible inclusion for Port Adelaide’s team to play Adelaide in Saturday’s second and final JLT Community Series clash.

The Power’s Head of High Performance, Ian McKeown, says the fleet-footed midfielder’s recovery from a hamstring strain is ahead of schedule.

“The work Jared’s been able to do recently has been really impressive,” McKeown said.

“Having said that, he still has more to do on the fitness front this week and we’ll be cautious deciding whether he can play or not.”

Steven Motlop is available after receiving a minor knock to the lower leg during Port’s opening JLT clash with West Coast.

Chad Wingard (hamstring), Todd Marshall (calf) and Tom Rockliff (knee) will be monitored throughout the week to determine their availability.

Matthew Broadbent remains the club’s only longer-term injury concern as he recovers from ankle surgery in mid-February.

Injury list as at 6/3/18

Steven Motlop - available
Chad Wingard - hamstring (assess)
Tom Rockliff - knee (assess)
Todd Marshall - calf (assess)
Matthew Broadbent - ankle (TBC)
