VETERAN defender Jasper Pittard is progressing well on the comeback from a hamstring injury and could be available for selection for Port Adelaide’s Round 4 clash with Essendon.

Pittard suffered a grade 2 hamstring tear during the Power’s final JLT Community Series clash, against Adelaide on March 10.

Chad Wingard reported soreness in his right hamstring during yesterday’s 23-point win over Sydney at the SCG. The 24-year-old played out the game and will be assessed during the week.

Jimmy Toumpas will also be assessed during the week after receiving a heavy knock to the shoulder during the Magpies’ 95-point win over Adelaide in the SANFL on Saturday.
