HAWTHORN'S Tom Mitchell has lost his spot at the top of the AFL Fantasy standings with GWS midfielder Stephen Coniglio taking over the mantle.

Coniglio racked up 29 disposals and 112 AFL Fantasy points in the Giants’ draw with St Kilda to take his season total to 610 - just three points ahead of Mitchell.

Carlton’s Ed Curnow is next best after getting 132 points in Carlton’s loss to West Coast and is now on a total of 598 points.

While it is important to note that Round 5 is not over with two games to come, Port Adelaide has already played and utility Justin Westhoff has regained top billing when it comes to Power players.

Justin Westhoff (mid,fwd - $649,000)

Port Adelaide’s Mr Versatile showed again why he is so important to the side.

Playing a combination of his free-roaming role and spending time in the ruck, Westhoff had 23 disposals and 26 hit outs, along with six marks, three tackles and two spoils.

The 31-year-old had 118 Fantasy points against the Cats, above his 103-point average.

Westhoff is now Port Adelaide’s fifth most popular player with AFL Fantasy coaches and is in exactly 8000 teams.

Robbie Gray (fwd - $636,000)

Gray was one of Port Adelaide’s better performers with 32 disposals - 16 of those contested - 10 clearances, seven tackles and a goal.

He tallied 126 points, above his 112.8-point average in 2018 and despite playing one fewer game than most of his teammates, he is now fifth-highest scorer in the side.

The 30-year-old represents good value as well, with his cost dropping per point scored to just $5638 – that’s Port Adelaide’s third cheapest behind Dom Barry and Jack Hombsch.

His popularity with fantasy coaches has also improved, having been picked by 14600 of them, compared with 12187 a week ago.

Tom Jonas (def $496,000)

Defenders don’t usually rack up a lot of points but Jonas continues to defy that logic.

After 90 points against Essendon last week, he grabed 108 against the Cats in a stoic defensive display under some serious pressure.

He had 21 disposals to go with his 15 marks and ten spoils.

The performance saw his average points per game go up to 86.8, at a relatively cheap $5714 per point, fourth at the Power behind Gray.

Hamish Hartlett (def $543,000)

Another defender racking up the statistics, Hartlett’s night nearly ended with a nasty head clash in the early stages of the second quarter.

He showed bravery to return to the field with a bandaged head, and finished as one of the Power’s best with 23 possessions, nine marks, four rebound 50s and four inside 50s from just 62 per cent game time.

The 27-year-old scored 101 Fantasy points, in excess of his 86.6 average.

One of the more popular of the Power players, Hartlett is in 3105 AFL Fantasy teams.
