FOR the second week in a row, and the third time this season Robbie Gray has been voted the Australian Outdoor Living Fans’ MVP, after his dominant display against the Crows in Round 8.

Gray was unstoppable in the third quarter, as the superstar almost single-handedly turned a 21-point half time deficit into a 12-point lead heading into the final term.

The 30-year-old booted six goals and had 20 disposals at 90 per cent efficiency in a performance that earnt him a record-equalling third Showdown Medal.

Tom Rockliff was also extremely influential in the Port Adelaide’s thrilling five-point Showdown win on Saturday night.

The ex-Lion had his best game for the club, finishing with a game-high 31 possessions, six clearances, and nine tackles.

While Jake Neade didn’t necessarily have the biggest game on the stats sheet, his tackling and forward pressure was elite.

His one-on-three effort to force a stoppage in the third quarter when the Power were three goals down was a turning-point in the match.

Courageous defender Tom Jonas continued his very fine season, collecting 21 touches, 10 marks and nine one-percenters for the game, while also keeping Taylor Walker and Josh Jenkins very quiet.

Justin Westhoff compiled another outstanding game in 2018, gathering 26 disposals - 12 contested - six marks and six tackles.

While Paddy Ryder took the ruck honours in his second game back from Achilles tendonitis, with a two-goal, 39-hitout display against the Crows.
