CHAD WINGARD has won his first weekly Australian Outdoor Living Fan’s MVP in Round 17, for his strong performance in Port Adelaide’s disappointing loss to Fremantle.

Wingard was exceptional in Port’s nine-point defeat, collecting 24 disposals and two goals in Perth on Sunday afternoon.

The dual All-Australian set the tone early with a ‘goal of the year’ contender as the Power led in the first quarter, but his seven clearances, 14 contested possessions, and four inside 50s weren’t enough for the club’s first win at Optus Stadium.

Sam Powell-Pepper continued his very good run of form with 28 touches, five rebound 50s, and three inside 50s, while Ollie Wines was the general in the midfield, collecting a team-high 30 disposals, a team-high 15 contested possessions, and five clearances.
