JARED POLEC has emerged as this weekend’s Australian Outdoor Living fans’ MVP after his strong performance in Port Adelaide’s disappointing 22-point loss to Greater Western Sydney.

Polec finished with an equal team-high 29 possessions - including a team-high 22 kicks - 10 contested disposals, four rebound 50s, and six inside 50s.

The 25-year-old finished with 39 per cent of the fans’ vote to make it two weekly wins, just one behind dual-leaders Robbie Gray and Ollie Wines.

Wines was again a prolific ball-winner against the Giants, finishing with 29 disposals, six marks, four clearances, four tackles, and a goal-assist.

Tom Clurey continued his fine year in defence with 16 touches, nine marks, eight rebound 50s, and seven one-percenters.

Defender Jarrod Lienert was also fantastic in his first game at AFL level, collecting 20 disposals.

The 23-year-old look assured in his defensive role and provided plenty of run and carry off the half-back flank.

Charlie Dixon started in the ruck but was thrust forward in the second half where he managed three goals, while Robbie Gray was the only other multiple goal-scorer with two.
