PORT ADELAIDE will be forced to make at least one change for its crunch clash with Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday afternoon.

Charlie Dixon has been ruled out for the season after breaking his leg in an awkward fall against West Coast in the third quarter.

Paddy Ryder, Jared Polec, and Dan Houston will all be assessed throughout the week after also suffering injuries against the Eagles.

Billy Frampton has been flagged as the ruck option by senior coach Ken Hinkley if Ryder is to miss the game with the Magpies.

Other potential inclusions are Jack Trengove and Will Snelling who have been dominant ball-winners in the SANFL all season, while Sam Powell-Pepper and Riley Bonner will be fresh after a week off.

Lindsay Thomas or Jake Neade could be options in the forward line if the match committee decide to go for a more mobile structure.

The final team will be announced on Thursday evening.
