PORT ADELAIDE will play Adelaide in Port Pirie and North Melbourne at Alberton in the 2019 JLT Community Series.

The AFL has released the full fixture for the pre-season tournament starting on February 28, which gives each club two games.

The Power will first face Adelaide at Port Pirie’s redeveloped Memorial Oval at 3:40pm on March 2 in the first AFL game to be played at the venue.

It’ll then take on North Melbourne on March 9 at 12:40pm at Alberton Oval.

It will be the second straight year the Power will play a pre-season match at Alberton, after beating the Crows by 26 points there in a summer Showdown in 2018.

“We couldn’t be happier with our JLT Community Series fixture,” said Port Adelaide Chief Executive Keith Thomas.

“To face off against our biggest rivals in Port Pirie, where we have a strong supporter base, will be brilliant, but then to get a chance to tackle North Melbourne in our heartland at Alberton is absolutely ideal.

“The fixture ticks a lot of boxes because it gives us a chance to take a game to a regional centre and to play a game at our spiritual home, all while limiting our travel and pitting us against quality opposition.

“It will provide the ideal preparation for the 2019 season.”

The game against Adelaide could see new Power recruit Sam Mayes play his first game for the club in his home city of Port Pirie.

The games will both be live on Fox Footy and the AFL Live app.

Ticketing details will be released soon.
