PORT ADELAIDE has made four changes to the side which will face Adelaide in Showdown XLIV on Saturday afternoon.

Chad Wingard returns to the side having missed the loss to West Coast with a hamstring complaint.

Sam Powell-Pepper and Tom Rockliff have been named to bolster the midfield after impressing in the SANFL in the past fortnight.

The other inclusion is defender Tom Clurey who was left out of the game against the Eagles but travelled to Perth as an emergency.

Aidyn Johnson drops out of the side with a groin complaint while Karl Amon, Dom Barry and Jasper Pittard have been omitted.

Amon, Barry and Pittard have each been named emergencies along with midfielder Jack Trengove.

The Magpies don’t play this weekend because of the state game between South Australia and Western Australia.

That game gets underway at 1:10pm at Adelaide Oval and will act as a curtain raiser to the Showdown.
