THIS IS about as close as it gets to celebrating a royal birth at Port Adelaide!

Welcome to the world, Leo Craig Ebert, son of Brad Ebert.

Born on Tuesday, Leo arrived healthy and happy to dad Brad and mum Bec.

He's got an impressive bloodline too.

His Dad has played over 100 games at Port Adelaide in the AFL.

His grandfather Craig Ebert played for the club in the SANFL.

His maternal great-grandfather Trevor Obst was a Magarey Medallist and club champion with Port Adelaide in the SANFL.

His maternal great-great-grandfather Ken Obst played in over 100 games and three premierships for the club.

And that's not to mention great-uncle Russell Ebert and first-cousin-once-removed Brett Ebert.

Or even his six-time premiership player great-great-uncle Peter Obst, and Port premiership and former Melbourne-playing first-cousin-twice-removed Andrew Obst.

That's one helluva pedigree!

No pressure on little Leo though, at this stage we'll let him reach his first milestone - leaving the hospital.

However, we have already taken the liberty of signing him up as a member so Brad can worry about playing this weekend.
