JUST ONE FORCED change has been made by Port Adelaide heading into Saturday night’s minor round closer against Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval.

Jasper Pittard will return from a calf complaint and replace the suspended Tom Jonas.

Meantime, Matthew Broadbent has been named for his return game in the SANFL and will play against the Roosters at Prospect at 2.10pm.

Tom Gray, Louis Sharrad, Robbie Young and Nathan Rudloff have been named on the extended bench for the Magpies.

Matt White will be retained as an AFL emergency and will not play for the Magpies, while Angus Monfries (load management) and captain Steven Summerton (illness) will also miss.

Chinese international scholarship player Chen Shaoliang will also play his first game of SANFL-standard football when he runs out for the Magpies reserves in the early game against the Roosters on Saturday.

Chen has previously played for China in the AFL International Cup and in the Great Southern Football League after returning from a year-long knee injury.

Port Adelaide plays three games to close out its 2017 minor round on Saturday 26 of August. The Magpies play North Adelaide at Prospect (11.30am reserves, 2.10pm league) before the Power host Gold Coast at Adelaide Oval (7.10pm).
