A MAGPIE WIN and a Power loss could signal significant changes ahead of Round 19.

The Power slipped out of the top four on the weekend after going down to the Dees by 23 points while at Alberton, the Magpies finished off the weekend with a significant 50-point win against Glenelg.

Chad Wingard is a certain out for the Saints clash after colliding with Sam Frost late in the third quarter and injuring his ankle.

The high ankle sprain will keep him on the sidelines for at least 2-4 weeks.

Todd Marshall is the only other player on the injury list and will be assessed this week following a concussion suffered in the SANFL.

With Wingard out of action, Brendon Ah Chee, Aaron Young or Aidyn Johnson may get the call up to fill his spot after their standout performances for the Magpies.

Along with Ah Chee, Young and Johnson, omitted defenders Jasper Pittard and Jack Hombsch were also pushing their case for selection with solid efforts down back.

Port Adelaide’s selection will take place at 5.50pm ACDT on Thursday 27 July.

St Kilda

Leigh Montagna is going to be a significant out for the Saints after suffering a hamstring injury in their 42-point loss to Sydney on Saturday night.

Montagna went down in the third-quarter and is likely to miss at least the next four weeks.

Small forward Darren Minchington is still 4-6 weeks away from returning and Sam Gilbert still has a 2-3 week wait so both are unlikely to face the Power this weekend.

Tim Membrey will return from suspension after spending two weeks on the sidelines for elbowing Dylan Grimes to the head in Round 16 with Nathan Freeman and Nick Coughlan awaiting assessments to see whether they may be in the mix against the Power.

Port Adelaide plays St Kilda at 4.05pm ACST on Saturday 29 July.
