PORT ADELAIDE could debut two young midfielders against West Coast with new pair Joe Atley and Willem Drew named in this week’s squad of 25.

And Hamish Hartlett is set to play having been named in the on-field line-up for the West Coast clash.

He, along with third inclusion Jack Hombsch, have been named in the squad on the half back flank and back pocket respectively.

Hombsch being named on the field guarantees at least one change from the extended bench, which consists of Jake Neade, Matt White, Jarman Impey, Jasper Pittard, Dan Houston, and Drew and Atley.

Three members of that group will be trimmed from the squad.

Meantime the Magpies have brought four players into its squad to play Adelaide’s state league side in the SANFL Showdown at Alberton on Saturday.

Aaron Young, Louis Sharrad, Tom Gray and Luke Reynolds come into the team.

Young will play in the midfield, while Sharrad, Gray and Reynolds have been named on the Magpies’ extended bench.

Port Adelaide plays the Crows at 2.40pm at Alberton on Saturday 10 July, ahead of the club’s clash with West Coast at Domain Stadium on Sunday 9 July at 2.40pm AWST.
