THE Power travel to Sydney this week to face the third-placed Swans at the SCG, a ground they haven’t won at since Round 2, 2006.

A star Swan is already a confirmed out, while the Power will sweat on the fitness of several stars.

Andrew Fuss takes a look at who’s in the mix for selection this week.

Port Adelaide
A host of players face fitness tests before the team is selected on Thursday afternoon.

Skipper Travis Boak (ankle) and Matt White (foot) were late withdrawals from the Power’s team against the Saints last week, but are pushing hard for a recall against the Swans.

Jared Polec and Angus Monfries, who both have ankle injuries, also face fitness tests, as does Aaron Young who injured his shoulder against the Saints.

Depending on the outcome of those fitness tests, Tom Logan and Cam O’Shea could force their way into the Power’s team for the trip to the SCG.

Logan was the Peter Jackson SANFL Player of the Week, racking up 31 disposals and 9 marks in the Magpies tight win over the Dogs.

O’Shea, who has played two games for the Power in 2014, was also impressive for the Magpies with 26 disposals.

The Power will name its final 22 at 5.55pm on Thursday. You can see it first in the Port Adelaide App, available on iPhone and Android.

Sydney
Kurt Tippett is a confirmed out with a knee injury and could be replaced by Canadian Mike Pyke, who made a successful return from injury through the Swans reserves.

Other than that one forced change, it seems unlikely the Swans will make any other changes, given their seven game winning streak.

Brandon Jack and Gary Rohan would be the next in line for a call-up, according to AFL.com.au.
