JACK HOMBSCH will miss at least three weeks with a quad injury suffered at training, with scans yesterday revealing a strain.

Hombsch injured his left quad while participating in a light kicking drill in the Power’s ‘Captain’s Run’ on Thursday last week.

That forced him to be a late omission from the Port’s win over Richmond on Friday.

“It was a pretty innocuous thing to happen,” Port head of high performance Darren Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“It’s a strain to the quad on his kicking leg – he’s a left footer – so we think it’ll mean at least three weeks [out] for him.”

Hombsch previously missed three games with a hamstring injury suffered in the final quarter against Melbourne in Round 10.

Port Adelaide yesterday revealed Matt White, Will Snelling and Matt Lobbe would likely return next week.
