ROBBIE GRAY has been nominated for Goal of the Year, with his brilliant ball-winning effort against the Bombers being given the nod for Round 3.

In an example of pure football, Gray wins a stoppage on the wing and immediately begins running towards the Power's scoring end.

As a result of his clearing handball, Darcy Byrne-Jones launched a long kick towards Ollie Wines inside attacking 50 who pushes the ball to ground where Gray runs through and collects the ground ball.

Breaking a tackle, he steadies and goals.

It was a defining moment of the Power's win over Essendon in another standout performance from the reigning John Cahill Medallist.
