VETERAN Tiger Brett Deledio will play against Port Adelaide at the MCG on Saturday night.

Richmond's football manager Dan Richardson told afl.com.au Deledio would return from a recurring quad injury.

"Brett is available for selection this week," Richardson said.

"We didn't want to take the risk with him last week, but he'll train fully this week and we expect to see him play his first game of the season this weekend."

Jack Riewoldt will also push for selection after spraining an ankle against Melbourne on Sunday night.

The Tigers consider him a "50-50" chance to run out against the Power.

"His ankle is still quite swollen, so he's 50-50 at the moment and we'll make a call on him later in the week," Richardson said.

Tiger ruckman Shaun Hampson will also be available for selection.

Port Adelaide plays Richmond at the MCG on Saturday 30 April at 7.25pm (local)
