NORTH Melbourne will face Port Adelaide without the services of Mason Wood and Farren Ray this Saturday at Etihad Stadium.

Both came off the field with injuries during the clash with the Eagles on Sunday and have been ruled out for the upcoming Round 17 game.

North Melbourne confirmed midfielder Ray has injured his right hamstring, which will leave him sidelined for four to six weeks with the possibility of surgery.

Key forward Wood will also sit out this weekend's clash after injuring a medial ligament in his right leg.

“Our medical team’s first thoughts are there is no serious damage for Mason, however he will meet with a specialist later this week to see if he requires any surgery,” Kangaroos' Driector of Football Geoff Walsh told NMFC.com.au.

Veteran Nick Dal Santo was a late withdrawal from the Eagles clash to illness, and could make a return to face the Power on Saturday.
