Player of the Week

John Butcher
Butch brought a lot of energy and effort to the game. Competed very well, finished with four goals.

Player Reviews

Tom Corcoran
Won a lot of the ball and tried to take the game on. More consistency with his attack on the ball and body will help his game.

Logan Austin
Some very good aerial contests, and a few that he would like to have again. He’s at his best when playing with aggression and desperation.

Sean Davidson
Aggression in the air was a real highlight. A good return to league footy after signing a new contract.

Sam Colquhoun
Really good first half, dropped out of the game as it went on.

Darcy Byrne-Jones
Defended very well, and also got involved offensively. Played with speed and aggression.

Sid Masters
Too cute with a lot of his kicks resulting in turnovers. Defended well otherwise.

Luke Reynolds
Very good return from Luke. Competed well and finished with 2.3.

Steven Summerton
A great response to his Round 1 performance. Set up a lot of our offensive movement and used the ball very well.

Paul Stewart
Not big numbers from Stewy, but played his role and competed very well once again.

Anthony Biemans
Needed his bigger body in the middle - was very good for three quarters.

Cam O’Shea
We’re looking for cam to have a bigger impact both defensively and offensively. Was good with his aerial work.

Robbie Young
Love his forward line pressure and the way he is attacking the ball and body.

Karl Amon
Ran really hard on occasions and looks good when he has the ball.

Aidyn Johnson
Tried hard to apply good forward line pressure. Needs to continually work on his ground balls.

Cameron Hewett
Shows some good signs. A consistent four-quarter effort is something for him to work on going forward.

Kane Mitchell
38 possessions – worked hard. His contested ball work was really pleasing.

Jonathon Ross
Have to admire the way Rossy is competing and the effort he brings against bigger opponents.

Riley Bonner
Solid debut for us from Riley. Got plenty of the ball and showed good signs defensively.

Jesse Palmer
Started well up forward, then needed his bigger body around stoppage. Competed well.

Will Snelling
Returned after a long lay-off and got better as the game went on. Some good work around stoppage.
