THE Port Adelaide Football Club will award Life Membership to seven servants of the club at tonight’s Annual General Meeting.

Life Members List

Five recipients - Matthew Bishop, Dean Brogan, Dom Cassisi, Kane Cornes and Darryl Wakelin - are representatives from the Power’s 2004 Premiership side.

Brogan, Cassisi and Cornes are still on Port Adelaide’s senior playing list, while Bishop has been working within the club’s football department since his retirement at the end of 2006 and Wakelin has been serving on the club’s board since his election in 2007.

Also awarded Life Membership are two long time off-field servants - John Sincock and Shane Worner. Sincock has served as club historian since 1995 and Worner has been a trainer at the Power since 1999.

All recipients of Port Adelaide Football Club Life Membership have given the club over 10 years of service.

Port Adelaide President Brett Duncanson says the club is delighted to welcome another group of Life Members as part of a long list of recipients that dates back over 100 years at the Port Adelaide Football Club.

“We are thrilled to have seven new inductees as Life Members of the Port Adelaide Football Club, taking our total to over 330 people since 1909,” said Duncanson.

“Whether it is on the field or off field, the contribution to our football club by all seven of these new Life Members has been outstanding and they richly deserve their Life Membership status for their sustained loyalty and dedication to the Port Adelaide Football Club.”

In summary, the 2010 recipients of Life Membership are:

- Matthew Bishop
- Dean Brogan
- Dom Cassisi
- Kane Cornes
- John Sincock
