THREE key players have been withdrawn from today's NAB Challenge clash with the Crows at Richmond Oval.

Captain Travis Boak, lead ruckman Matt Lobbe and reigning John Cahill Medalist Chad Wingard have all been withdrawn from the squad when it was trimmed to 26 today.

The decision was made as part of player management, rather than as a result of injury.

Yesterday, Alipate Carlile was withdrawn from the squad with quad soreness, replaced in the selected side by Ollie Wines.

Angus Monfries will captain the side in the absence of Travis Boak and Brad Ebert.

The Power will field eight new faces in a very young side against the Crows. New recruits Jared Polec and Matt White will play their first games in Power colours and they'll be joined by first-gamers Mason Shaw, Jarman Impey, Mitch Harvey, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Karl Amon and Daniel Flynn

Teams can use 26 players in NAB Challenge games in 2014 with the following rules also in place:
- Six interchange players and two substitute players
- Substitute players can be reset at half time
- Nine-point ‘super goals’ for goals kicked from outside the 50-metre arc
