LAST WEEK’S NEWS
It certainly wasn’t the result we were after and from a Fantasy perspective, it wasn’t great either with only five players going up in price this week and six players failing to lay a tackle.
Brad Ebert (MID, $502,000) was the only player to crack the ton and was supported by captain Travis Boak (MID, $542,000) who worked hard all day for his 20 touches and 6 tackles. Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $506,000) has been on fire in recent weeks but only managed 66pts. He is still averaging 88 in his last three games though and will bounce back this week.
Sam Gray (FWD, $293,000) knocked up a solid 73, backing up his 90 from round 18.
ON THE RADAR
He’s cheap and starting to warm-up heading into Fantasy finals and must be considered this week. I’m talking about Brad Ebert who has now scored 100, 88 and 101 in recent weeks.
Ebert has the ability of going big on his day and has had some big numbers this year which include 163, 139, and 134. He’s highest score is only 101 in his last 7 games though but that does place him at $100,000 cheaper than he was earlier this year.
If you think he can turn his form around like I do with a nice run home (GWS, Hawks, Suns, Dockers), then jump on board.
TOP 5 SCORERS
#1 – 100 Brad Ebert (MID, $502,000)
#2 – 86 Hamish Hartlett (MID, $451,000)
#3 – 83 Travis Boak (MID, $542,000)
#4 – 82 Matthew Broadbent (DEF, $434,000)
#5 – 80 Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $491,000)
WHAT’S COMING UP
