FOUR QUARTERS

THE STAKES
After two losses in a row, Norwood has relinquished top spot on the ladder and sits in second position, ahead of Port Adelaide in fourth. The Magpies had the weekend off and are well-placed heading into the back end of the season - another win will firm their place in the top four and the prospects of a double chance come finals.

THE STOCKS
Both sides will be reasonably full-strength this week, Nathan Krakouer, Sam Colquhoun and Andrew Moore will add some class and pace to replace Clurey, Neade, O’Shea and Amon who played for the Power on Thursday.

THE HISTORY
This is one of the SANFL’s greatest rivalries, with Magpies holding a narrow lead in the head-to-head over the clubs’ battles. In recent times Norwood have won four of the past five contests, including last year’s grand final, but with tight margins we can expect another close encounter. The last time these teams met was ANZAC round this year, where wet weather was costly for the Magpies, succumbing to a 21-point loss.

THE VIBE
Like their AFL counterparts, the Magpies will be ready to get the job done after a week off, and cement their position in the top four.
