THE TWO clubs that top the list of most detested by Port Adelaide fans should come as no surprise.

The BIG PORT SURVEY polled Port supporters on the clubs they most dislike, to use an old sports adage; the teams they love to hate.

More than half of Port Adelaide supporters dislike the Crows most - a figure likely to be reflected on the other side of the SA footy divide.

With more than 58% of supporters labelling the Crows their least liked club, where do the rest fall, and are there any notable points of interest?

Eddie's mob

One fifth of Port fans dislike Collingwood the most.

That figure is unsurprising, given the Victorian Magpies are the only other club to have had a significant impact on Port Adelaide's entry into the AFL.

While the Crows were of course born from Port's original failed bid, Collingwood's impact in requiring Port to change its brand for admission to the national competition has always been a sticking point for the Alberton faithful.

Combined with wars over heritage guernseys and a history of cracking football games, it's no surprise Collingwood ranks highly in the list of the disliked.

The rest of 'em...

Sydney, Hawthorn and Richmond all had just over three percent of the fan vote, with Essendon and Geelong in the two-percent range.

Beyond that, dislike for clubs comes back to the little quirks of individual tastes.
