ANDREW Moore has shared his pre-game meal with supporters in the first episode of Cooking with Moorey.

The healthy chicken stir-fry is the perfect pre-game meal according Moore, and is quick and easy to make.

Widely regarded as the best cook at the club, Moore will share more of his recipes over the course of the season.

Andrew Moore’s pre-game chicken stir-fry
Serves 4

Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
1 zucchini
1 red capsicum
2 carrots
Handful of mushrooms
Handful of snowpeas
2 spring onions
2 cloves of garlic
Thumb of ginger
1 onion
1 fresh chilli or chilli flakes
Cashews
1 ½ cups of rice

Sauce ingredients
2 cups of chicken stock
2-3 tablespoons of oyster sauce
2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce
Dash of sesame oil

Method
1. Dice vegetables and chicken
2. Put rice in rice cooker
3. Put onion and garlic in wok, quickly brown
4. Put chicken in wok and lightly brown for 3-4 minutes (not cooked through)
5. Put chicken, onion and garlic aside and cover with alfoil
6. Put vegetables in wok and cook to liking, covering for 3-4 minutes
7. Put chicken stock, oyster sauce and soy sauce in wok and mix through
8. Add chicken, garlic and onion back in and stir through. Add spring onion and cover for 2-3 minutes
9. While that’s cooking, put a small handful of cashews in a frying pan on low heat and lightly brown
10. Serve immediately with rice and cashews
