WE'RE all in awe of Chad Wingard’s on field wizardry – but nobody is more spellbound than three-year-old Blake Noble.

Young Blake has got his eye on an AFL career with the Power, and has started training already.

He’s been working hard on his Wingard-inspired goal kicking.

Judging by this home video, he’s got Chad’s signature move down to a tee: the backpedal, ball on the ground, the calf rub, followed by a big boot for goal!

…it’s pretty adorable.

According to dad Andrew, the youngster lives and breathes Port Adelaide and talks about Chad non-stop.

At home, they’ve got his 2014 Mark of the Year bookmarked on Youtube as Blake watches it several times a week.

Self-titled ‘Chad’s biggest little fan’, he recently went to a superhero birthday party dressed as the AFL star.

“All the other kids went as Spiderman and Batman - but he wanted to go as Chad Wingard,” Andrew said.

“He wore a Power hoodie with Chad’s number 20 on the back. I had to explain it to the other parents, everyone thought it was pretty amusing!”

On Thursday, Blake made a special visit to the club, to hand-deliver Chad an invitation to his fourth birthday party.

Needless to say, he was pretty overwhelmed to meet his favourite player.

Keep practising, Blake - and you might hear from us in a few years!
