A HAMSTRING injury to Nathan Krakouer - suffered during his final kick of the day against the Adelaide Crows - will keep the Power defender out of action against the Bombers.

He’s also likely to miss against St Kilda the following week, with Port Adelaide’s head of high performance Darren Burgess telling portadelaidefc.com.au the defender could miss a fortnight in rehab.

"He did it during his last kick of the game and felt it wasn't right, we decided to scan it during the week and it showed up with a strain," Burgess said.

"He will miss approximately two weeks in recovery with it."

Krakouer was the only injury-related exclusion from the Power's Round 17 side to play the Bombers.
