'NEVER Tear Us Apart' has never been so aptly applied.

The new anthem of the Port Adelaide supporter base has been a raging success in 2014 and for avid supporters Omkar Nandurkar and Michelle Howard, it became symbolic of their nuptials a few weeks ago.

Omkar arrived in Australia to complete his Masters in Information Technology in 2008 and attended Power games as part of Uni SA's student exchange society.

From there he joined Port Adelaide's International Student Supporter Group and, along with Michelle, attended Power games in 2010.

Omkar and Michelle wanted to incorporate the club into a part of their wedding known in Hindi as 'Saat Phere' - or seven rounds around the fire tied together - and so used two 'Never Tear Us Apart' scarves to help them tie the knot.

Talk about a great way to tie the knot. Source: Supplied
