PORT ADELAIDE will host Glenelg for its first home game at Alberton Oval on Sunday 13 April.

The Magpies will play their old Tiger rivals on home turf as part of a special 'Past Players Day' at the club's traditional home ground.

The day will feature a pre-game event, with attendees treated to a two-course meal and another function at half-time for just $70.

Club champions including Magarey Medallists Geof Motley, Neville 'Chicken' Hayes, Trevor Obst, Scott Hodges, and Russell Ebert and 10-time premiership coach John Cahill will all be at Alberton on the day, including on the field before the start of the League game.

You might even catch a couple of the club's AFL stars for a quick photo and autograph!

Speaking of AFL stars, it's the first opportunity to see the exciting mix of Port Adelaide's exciting AFL-listed players and talented SANFL senior stars in action together for an official League game at Alberton Oval.

And entry is as affordable as ever, with general admission tickets costing $14, concession entry $8 and all children under 18 years admitted free.

It's a great day out for the family with plenty of former champions around the place to keep mum and dad entertained, plus the heroes of today running around in the club's famous black and white prisonbar guernsey.

Tickets are available at the gate ahead of the first game between the Port Adelaide Academy side and Glenelg's reserves at 11:25am.
