HAYDEN Ballantyne will miss Saturday's first semi final against Port Adelaide.

He has been replaced in the Freo side by Nick Suban.

It's the only changes for the knockout final at Patersons Stadium, which gets underway at 5:45pm local time.

It comes as Port Adelaide made no changes to the team that accounted for Richmond at the Adelaide Oval last Sunday.

Michael Barlow has been named to play the Power despite being limited by a minor foot complaint during the week.

“It was in his best interests that he doesn’t play and hopefully he can recover soon,” Fremantle's general manager of football operations Chris Bond told fremantlefc.com.au.

“[Suban] has played the majority of the year for us in a number of roles, he’s a very versatile player for us,” he said.

“He missed with an ankle injury last week but he’s going to play a variety of roles (on Saturday) and we’re looking forward to having him back.”

No further changes are expected for Fremantle.
