PORT ADELAIDE supporters need to choose the ruckmen they want to represent our official AFL Fantasy team in 2014.

Supporters voted over the weekend on the premium midfielders they wanted in our Official AFL Fantasy team and two Port Adelaide stars made the cut.

The always reliable veteran Kane Cornes and skipper Travis Boak are the first Power players to be selected in the side, and they’ll be joined in the midfield by a pair of Brownlow Medallists - Gary Ablett and Dane Swan.

With three premium defenders (Jarrad McVeigh, Jimmy Bartel and Sam Mitchell) and our premium midfielders now locked in, supporters will choose one premium ruckman and three lower-priced ruckmen.

The Power’s very own Matthew Lobbe looks an enticing pick for Port supporters, with the 200cm ruckman looking likely shoulder most of the ruck duties for the start of 2014 with Jarrad Redden out with a shoulder injury.

Lobbe proved he was up to the task in the second half of 2013, impressing as the sole ruckman and averaging 95 AFL Fantasy points per game in the final 14 games of the season.

Supporters have two choices to make today – ONE premium ruckman and THREE lower-priced ruckmen. Voting will close on Tuesday 4 March.
