LIFELONG Port Adelaide supporter Craig McKay continues his player reviews for portadelaidefc.com.au, giving his top five for the clash against Richmond in Round 17.

The opinions below are those of McKay and not necessarily the club.

McKay’s Top 5
Travis Boak
Just a pure gun of a footballer. Not his fault we lost today. He left absolutely everything on the park and just didn’t have enough mates come to the party. Was a boss in the midfield and the only mid we had that was consistently getting the ball at stoppages. Just has such a strong determination to win the contested ball and is so good at getting it to teammates. Kicked a goal. Best on ground for us by as big a margin as you could get.

Robbie Gray
Our best target up forward that was kicking goals. Thought he got plenty of it through the midfield but for the first time this year was given zero space to use it. Was tackled immediately so many times and he was forced to give off an ineffective handball. Despite that, he was still well in our best players. Only behind Boak really.

Matt White
Gave us some good run early, went out of it before having a big second half. Thought he did well against his old team and can hold his head high. A couple of great goals, including one running at full pace for 100m that was just about goal of the year. Copped some attention from his ex-teammates and I don’t think it let it faze him too much.

Hamish Hartlett
Took a while to get into it but I thought he had a decent influence for much of the second half in continuing to win the ball and get it forward. Used it well and was finding space to use his leg to advantage. Another that kicked a nice goal. Nice game.

Jasper Pittard
Was one of the only players effectively running it out of defence and taking the game on, whilst also using the ball well. He did a good job. In arguably career best form at the moment and it’s fantastic to see how much he's turned it around.
