MATTHEW Lobbe and Brent Renouf are available to return to football.

It comes at an opportune time for the club following the confirmed shoulder injury of Jarrad Redden.

Although the club is still awaiting the outcome of scans taken today, the possibility of season-ending surgery is high.

Lobbe and Renouf have recovered from respective ankle and knee problems and will be in the mix to play against the Giants when Port returns from the bye in a fortnight.

Senior forward Brett Ebert was slated for a return through the SANFL this weekend, but a new calf injury has set him back at least 2-3 weeks.

Dom Cassisi (hamstring), Jasper Pittard (hip flexor) and Jackson Trengove are all nearing return, particularly Trengove whose recovery continues to progress well.

portadelaidefc.com.au will have the outcome on Jarrad Redden's scans as they come to hand. The Injury Update is released every Monday evening in-season and gives the inside word on Port Adelaide's injury situation.
