LAST WEEK’S NEWS

It was one of the best victories for 2015 and knocking off the reining premiers is always a stunning achievement. Dominating from the front was Hamish Hartlett (MID, $460,000) who topped his score again for the second week straight recording his best score for the year with 123pts.

But for Fantasy fans… it was a ‘Gray Day’. But in a good way (man I’m funny)!

Sam Gray (FWD, $347,000) and Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $486,000) went bananas.  Sam scored 115, his best score for the year and collected 34 touches to be one of the Power’s best. Robbie did his usual thing for 110pts, he too had 34 touches and could have scored higher if his radar in front of goals was a little sharper.

He had 108pts in round 20 and Brendon Ah Chee (MID, $270,000) proved it wasn’t a fluke with another 110pts this week. He laid six tackles and took six marks and is still a very cheap option to trade in.

ON THE RADAR

He’ll cost you a pretty penny, but Chad Wingard (FWD/MID, $495,000) is certainly worth it. With another 4 goals on the weekend, has now kicked 3+ goals in all but one game since round 9. He scored 101 on the weekend and has now averaged 94 in his last five games this year.

With the Gold Coast Suns on his radar this week, Chad will have another 100+ score on his mind, thanks to a another bag of goals.

TOP 5 SCORERS

#1 – 123 Hamish Hartlett (MID, $460,000)
#2 – 116 Travis Boak (MID, $517,000)
#3 – 115 Sam Gray (FWD, $347,000)
#4 – 110 Robbie Gray (FWD/MID, $486,000)
#5 – 110 Brendon Ah Chee (MID, $270,000)

WHAT’S COMING UP

This week, Port play the Gold Coast Suns.

Last time they met, Matthew Lobbe (RUC, $391,000) monstered them with 145pts with 56 hit outs. With that in mind, Patrick Ryder (RUC/FWD, $416,000) will be my hot tip to feature in the top 5 this week. He was great on the weekend with 85pts, playing his best game for Port.  He’ll continue this form and should score 120+ against Zac Smith, especially after Essendon’s Shaun McKernan had 130 against him last week. #gopaddy
