The views below are not necessarily those of the Port Adelaide Football Club

FREE AGENCY starts today, the trade period starts on Monday, and there's plenty of wheeling and dealing around the league.

Here’s what’s being reported by media outlets today…

Lyons in limbo
The Advertiser reports that Jarryd Lyons is yet to sign-on with the Crows for next year and the Gold Coast and other clubs are potential suitors.

There are suggestions the deal offered by the Crows is less lucrative than the value put on Lyons by his management.

Lyons was a fourth-round pick in the 2010 draft and has played 55 games in his career at West Lakes, including 20 last season.

Motlop on the table
AFL.com.au reports Steven Motlop is drawing interest from other clubs.

There are suggestions that Richmond may be interested in dealing Brett Deledio to the Cattery in exchange for Motlop.

Wells in demand
The Herald Sun is reporting interest in Kangaroos midfielder and free agent Daniel Wells.

Wells, 31, is looked upon as a target for both Geelong and Collingwood, with free agency getting underway on Friday.

Oh yeah, Hamish is staying...

In case you missed it, the Power's vice-captain has decided to stay put. Here's the full story.
