POWER CAPTAIN Travis Boak was back to his best on the weekend and was rewarded with the maximum five votes in the Wok in a Box Fans’ MVP Award for the Round 9 match against Melbourne.

Wok in a Box Fans' MVP - Round 8

Boak led all players on the ground with 31 possessions, proving to be an influential factor in the game and leading from the middle on Port’s way to a 61-point win.

Fans can log onto fansmvp.portadelaidefc.com.au after each round and cast 3, 2, 1 votes for the players they judge best afield.

These votes are then scaled to award five votes to the player with the most votes in that round, four votes to the player with the second-most votes and so on.

Fellow midfielders Robbie Gray (26 disposals, 1 goal) and Brad Ebert (31 disposals, 1 goal) were also recognised for their work in the middle, earning four and three votes respectively,

Jack Hombsch (two) and Angus Monfries (one) rounded out the vote getters.

Gray extends his lead in the MVP Award with 26 votes, ahead of Boak on 18 and Ebert on 17.
